AFT Chain Conveyors
& Belt Conveyors
Chain conveyors
Chain conveyors are made of profile struts carrying a circulating chain, propelled by a drive station, and supported within a framework. Longer distances can be bridged by connecting several units, transverse turns are possible with crossover units. This simple yet versatile principle can be adapted to many uses, but on floor level it is primarily suited to carry solid loads on skids or palettes for relocation, transport or as a buffer station. The system is also perfectly suited for use within logistic centers or automated warehouses.
Load capacity up to 1000 kg
Speed 0-18 m/min, max. bis 60 m/min
Climb/descent max. 3° (5%)
Prime features of chain conveyors:
- Sturdy and highly reliable due to proven concepts and components
- Cost effective and widely applicable due to its simplicity
- Particularly suited for stepwise conveying or as buffer
- Fits all usual conveyor systems as well as warehouse, production and assembly installations
Belt conveyors
Similar to chain conveyors, belt conveyors are made of narrow belts circulating around, propelled by a drive station and supported within a framework. Made to smoothly move carriers loaded with relatively lightweight goods, they often interconnect workstations or are used for slow movement during setting processes. The simplicity and robustness of this system make it suitable for various applications, from parcel sorting and distribution, to transfer systems for paint shops.
