When new vehicle models, generations, or series enter the market every few years, the conveyor technology at the respective sites must be optimized and adapted so that the new vehicles can be produced without any difficulties. At the same time, the production systems in the large automobile plants have to run reliably, 6 days a week, 24 hours a day for years. The demands on the quality of the planning, production, assembly, and commissioning of these systems are obvious.
